Jacy Smith is currently a Senior Implementation Project Manager at a logistics SaaS company. She was previously a Technical Project Manager at a B2B SaaS company in the automotive space. She led many projects to completion like an integration with Walmart.com, localization for multiple languages, and large-scale enterprise initiatives for automakers. Jacy was previously the co-founder of ReFresh IT, which was absorbed by Michigan-based tech company, iwerk, in March of 2019. Ms. Smith was one of the first two students to complete and graduate from Arizona State University’s Science, Technology and Society program and received a Bachelor of Science degree in December of 2010. She recently graduated from the Quantic School of Business and Technology with her Executive MBA.
Ms. Smith was named a “Top 50 Tech Visionary” in June of 2019 by InterCon. Previous volunteer experiences include organizations such as CodeDay, PHX Startup Week, Virginia Caring for the Caregiver Hack, and was a member of the Board of Directors for AZ StRUT. She is a past recipient srnd.org’s Paragon Award for volunteers. In addition, she was on a winning team at the 2014 LeadingAge Hackfest and was awarded the “People’s Choice Award” for the project focused on senior citizen co-housing. Ms. Smith also enjoys international travel, wine tasting, theater performance, and being outside in the sunny Arizona weather.
